Hi, I’m Cher.
Yoga transformed my chronic anxiety, healed my body, and helped me process traumas from over 20 years including working in graphic design.* Despite my RISD education, the creative industry’s erosion devastated my mind, body, and finances. A doctor said my work injury—numbness from spine to foot—was permanent. It wasn't.*
After two decades practicing, I became a yoga instructor this year, compelled to share this life-changing knowledge. We're surrounded by chaotic energy pulling us from inner peace. I teach ancient methods for recentering—returning to your body and your own will.
I'm neurodivergent with high sensitivity, excellent memory, and pattern recognition, allowing me to teach with intricate detail and understand differing worldviews shaped by culture.
Additionally, car collisions conditioned my nervous system with stress reactions, making travel to classes an ordeal—inspiring me to create an online studio, Apokálypsis Yoga.
I work with the nervous system as a gateway to higher consciousness. When you harmonize with yourself, you harmonize with others. Be the Eye of the Storm!
